La Piazza - 39 Roehampton Ave - Developed by partners Jourdan and Herzig in 1990, La Piazza is one of the few uptown lofts. These developers were one of the first in Toronto to build a new loft style property from scratch. La Piazza is located just north of Yonge and Eglinton, and contains just 27 suites. With architecture by Gabor and Popper, this modern structure is comprised of concrete, glass, and steel. Ground floor suites facing the courtyard have patios, penthouses have roof gardens, and the rest feature Juliet balconies. All lofts are two stories and feature an area of 17' high ceilings in the living room, and come in one bedroom and one bedroom + den configurations.
